Our History

The North Broward County Alumnae Chapter (NBCAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, formerly known as Pompano Beach Alumnae was founded on April 16, 1994 by 34 passionate women who had a vision to ensure that the Pompano Beach area had a voice. In the present day these women have expanded the vision by focusing on this mission of serving specifically the cities of North Lauderdale, Tamarac, Pompano Beach, Coconut Creek, Margate, Deerfield Beach, Coral Springs, and Parkland, Florida. The North Broward County Alumnae Chapter continues the sorority's mission of Sisterhood, Scholarship, Service, and Social Action
